It’s official!!!!!!
I have selected July 31st 2024 as my retirement date. The notice has been written and turned into my department director. I will not yet be 55, but I will get paid for my accursed vacation time and we will be fine. I ca not put into words how excited I am!! Since I last blogged we have been blessed with our first grandchild. They are life changing. I will have stories to share t about all of that. I do also need to start working on a retirement list of things I want to accomplish to keep our lives simple and comfortable. I will be sharing that list as well. My mother-in-law that had Lewey Body dementia that lived with us passed away November 2023. I will also be sharing experiences and life during that phase as well. I am going to try and make this a diary of life after early retirement. I hope maybe I can share some things that may touch someone dealing with the same issues. And maybe I hope to glean from you some new ideas too. So here’s to early retirement debt free living in a w
